The Fascinating Nagaur Cattle Fair

Nagaur, which has been immortalized by the bards in the Mahabharata and was once witness to the valor of the great Rao Amar Singh Rathor who challenged the mighty Mughal Empire, is part of the Great Indian Thar Desert. A fascinating Fair is held here towards the end of January-beginning February, every year.

The Nagaur Cattle Fair marks the trading of cattle on an expansive and extensive scale.
