Balloon Ride over Jaipur Promises Pleasure

Ballooning is one of the most comfortable ways to observe our wonderful wide world from an alternative perspective. And a balloon ride is, indisputably, one of the most exhilarating experiences of a lifetime!  It isn't cold up there. You can hardly feel the difference in temperature on the ground. Because the balloon is flying with the wind, you don't feel the wind and you can wear casual clothes, albeit warm and robust outdoor clothing made of natural fibres, because of their better resistance to heat.

Man’s dream of conquering the vast azure spaces became a reality in the year 1783, when two French brothers Joseph Michel Montgoflier and Jacques Etiene Montgoflier created and set aloft a 17.83 m high fire balloon. The balloon carrying a sheep, a rooster and a duck landed safely at a distance of 3.2 kms, after a flight of eight minutes!  Later the same year, another daring French duo triumphantly perfected the feat!
Hot air balloon rides are very weather dependent.   Because of the air stability, we fly just before after sunrise or just before sunset. During the flight we do between 10 - 40 kilometres, depending on the wind speed and landing possibilities and do not exceed a height of 5,000 ft!   For perfect picture clarity, you are advised to carry cameras with UV filters for some stunning ballooning photographs.
The world famous 'Pink City' is favoured equally for its vibrancy as for its arresting monuments. Be mesmerised by the city as you fly over its many imposing and stately edifices in an exciting Hot Air Balloon ride in Jaipur, absorbing its riotous cocktail of colours, forts and  palaces.   The rides, which last approximately 1hour, cost $ 225/- per person, are launched from Samode Bagh and Palace, Amer Fort, Delhi Road etc, include pick-up/drop facilities, refreshments, the exciting balloon preparedness activities and a valid Certificate of First Flight!
